Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and worldwide payment system. It is the first decentralized digital currency, as the system works without a central bank or single administrator.The network is peer-to-peer and transactions take place between users directly, without an intermediary.These transactions are verified by network nodes through the use of cryptography and recorded in a public distributed ledger called a blockchain. Bitcoin was invented by an unknown person or group of people under the name Satoshi Nakamoto and released as open-source software in 2009.

बिटकॉइन (Bitcoin )एक क्रिप्टोकुरेंसी और दुनिया भर में भुगतान प्रणाली है।

यह पहली विकेन्द्रीकृत डिजिटल मुद्रा है, क्योंकि प्रणाली केंद्रीय बैंक या एक प्रशासक के बिना काम करती है।

नेटवर्क सहकर्मी से सहकर्मी है और मध्यस्थों के बिना, सीधे उपयोगकर्ता के बीच लेनदेन होता है। ये लेनदेन उपयोग के माध्यम से नेटवर्क नोड्स द्वारा सत्यापित होते हैं क्रिप्टोग्राफी की और एक सार्वजनिक वितरित खाताधारक में दर्ज किया गया, जिसे ब्लॉकचान (Blockchain)कहा जाता है।

Mining is a record-keeping service done through the use of computer processing power.

Everytime a transaction took place from one user to another.An algorithism generates which needs to be solved by volunteers doing this job of record keeping.Who so ever first solved the problem will get rewarded with Bitcoins.This process of recordkeeping is known as mining.

• What is the Difference Between Tradional Currencies & Bitcoins

Bitcoin are different from tradtional currencies owned by any centralized system,country or organization.

The Main characterstics of Bitcoin are as follows :

• A Globally accepted payment system ( Although not supported by Government of several countries .As India clearly denied to accept Bitcoins as legal tender through it Finance Minster Sh.Arun Jaitly during its budget speech 1 Feb 2018.
• Decentralized - No single entity is owner of Bitcoin so it de-centralized.
• Faster Transactions
• Limited Supply -Only 21 Million Bitcoins will be generated till 2124.
• Pseudonymity  During a transaction it is difficult to track the user as only transactions & wallet addresses can be tracked.
•  Immutability Bitcoin transactions cannot be reversed, unlike electronic fiat transactions.
• Divisibility The smallest unit of a bitcoin is called a satoshi. It is one hundred millionth of a bitcoin (0.00000001)

The blockchain is a public ledger that records bitcoin transactions.

• Bitcoin In India

1.Bitcoin भारत में मुद्रा की तरह नहीं चलेगा । आप सोने,चांदी को भी मुद्रा के रूप में नहीं चला सकते परन्तु इससे वह अवैध नहीं हो जाती ।

2.Commodity की तरह आप Bitcoin या अन्य currency में trade कर सकते हैं । उस पर यदि कोई लाभ होता है तो आयकर देय होता है । इसके लिए आयकर अधिनियम में संशोधन आ चुका है ।

3.भारत में Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency के नाम पर MLM अवैध है ।।
